WORLDLY REACHING FOR HEAVEN PRE/POST ROCKET POWER

THE PAPER ON NIMROD AND THE TOWER OF BABEL, INTRIGUED ME TO THE POINT OF CARRYING ON THE THOUGHT, THAT THE PYRAMIDS, OF VARIOUS DESIGN, WERE LATER ATTEMPTS BY MAN TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT FAILED AT BABEL.

MIGHT WE STILL BE ATTEMPTING THAT FEAT, BY CONTINUING AROUND THE WORLD, TO RAISE TALLER AND TALLER BUILDINGS? I SUBMIT THIS IS A PROBABLE HIDDEN DESIRE IN MAN, SUCH THAT IT DRIVES HIM EVER UPWARDS IN HIS BUILDINGS.

THE NEWEST ENTERPRISE BEING IN ABU DABI(SP). IT SEEMS REACHING THE HEAVENS VIA ROCKET HAS NOT DIMINISHED THIS DESIRE/DRIVE. IT MAY JUST BE TO INDICATE TO GOD OUR DESIRE TO LIVE CLOSER TO HIM, A DESIRE I'M PRETTY SURE IS IN ALL OF US.

The Flesh Prophets Nothing

God did not create this world for the flesh.God uses the flesh for a vehicle to move around in a material world. Humans are a two part person. Flesh and spirit.

The flesh is made from the same material as the world, dirt. There was no salvation for the angels because they were in the spiritual realm. God said the flesh prophets nothing. God created mankind in the flesh and He breathed the breath of life into that flesh. Since God cannot die neither can the Spirit of man. It is created in the image of God. Since man sinned he became dead to god spiritually.

The reason for that was for man to know good and evil. God knows good and evil, but he only practices good. Therefore when man commits evil he deserves to die. That is why there is salvation in the world. So God can bring man back to where he was before he sinned. To eternal life. If man only did good like God there would be nothing to judge. Since man practices good and evil God considers him a sinner and is not good enough to go to Heaven.

After Cain and Able, Eve gave birth to Seth who was in the image of Adam. Adam could not give Seth the spirit because Adam was spiritually dead. If Adam could give spiritual life to Seth then Jesus would not have to go to the cross. Jesus went to the Cross to undo what Adam and Eve did.

Now God chooses who He will save, according to John 6 vs 44. It does not matter what we believe, it matters what God does.

USING MAN'S FALLACIES TO CORRECT MAN

GOD does indeed use such erroneous feats as the Tower of Babel, to help turn man aside from evil and wrong thinking. Many such "training" episodes occurred to the Hebrew children over history, still they have not reached perfection. The rest of us even lag behind them I'm afraid.

The ability to choose, has brought man to a sorry state, mostly because he keeps looking for an easier way than that prescribed by GOD.

The talent of art given to architects, leads them to dream of grander and grander buildings, as much for their own pride as to "beat" the existing worlds tallest/grandest edifice.

Man's competitive nature (which we all applaud) keeps this "battle" on going.

Tower of babel

God created this universe and everything in it for the wonderment of man. If you look at the universe and consider the size of it, there is no way man could build any structure to get to heaven. God said all man's wisdom is ignorance to him. The universe is running on time.

God created the planets, and stars, and everything in the universe, then he started the celestial clock, when he put the universe in motion. Where God lives there is no time. God created time. Everything is bound by time in this universe. Peter said[a day is just like a thousand years to God].

God is not bound by time. Heaven is outside of this sinful universe. God uses certain examples in His creation to teach man a lesson. The tower of babel was one of them. God said to man[Multiply and fill the earth].

Man's disobedience caused God to change the language.Sometimes it seems that God is being sarcastic, but He is not.God will do things His way. This is His creation. If we don't like it then we can create our own universe. have at it. One thing for sure, we will all die.

When we die we will or we won't find out the truth. If there is a Heaven, great. If not it won't matter. The problem is we have to die to find out Good luck
