The Term Palestine

I made a comment about the web-site using the term Palestine and wanted to add that the land was not known as Palestine until around 70 AD. I should have also commented that I really like this web-site because it is so hard to find reliable information about the ancient Biblical sites. I wanted to say God bless you all and thank you for your web site.

I just love the Jewish people, and worry about the land being called Palestine because some people refer to it that way in a negative political way to harm the people of Israel. There are so many people out there that do not know the truth about Islam and their intentions of spreading the religion world wide through violence.

People also are unaware of the propaganda campaign that the Muslims under take with teqia; the rule that it is okay to lie as long as it furthers the cause of Islam. I just wanted to make sure that people realize that the therm Palestine did not exist until 70 A.D.

Israel & Palestine

The modern Jews are not Jews at all and do not descend from Judah. They too, like the Arabs, have no legitimate claim to that land. If you read 2 Kings 18:13 it says; "Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of JUDAH, and took them."

For those many Americans who often don't even know the difference between Assyria and Babylon, Assyria captured the House of Israel (10 tribes which were never called Jews), and the Babylonians a while thereafter came and captured the Jews (2 tribes of the House of Judah).

What this verse above shows is that the Assyrians didn't just capture the 10 tribes (Israel), they also captured most of Judea as well! (with exception of Jerusalem itself which Babylon later took). These 10 tribes with most of Judea added on were taken into captivity, lost their identity permanently and never returned as the Jews of Jerusalem returned later from Babylon. They branched into Europe over many generations and made up the Northern European people (Northern Europe was almost empty before that point).

MANY of the Jews of the time of Christ believed in HIM AND HIS MIRACLES PERFORMED and became Christians, as per the New Testament. King Herod and many other Jews, like the Pharisees, were imposters called Edomites who converted to Judaism a few hundred years before Christ.

Of them Christ said:

Revelation 3:9 "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee."

He warned of their leaven and said they were "not of My sheep".

These Edomites became more and more powerful and when Jerusalem was finally destroyed by the Romans they were already in powerful positions hand in hand with Rome. They converted the semi-oriental Khazars to Judaism 1000 years later and intermarried with them; and the combination of both is the modern Jew today !

The Term Palestine
by: Lujack Skylark

The word Palestine is what the Romans called Israel after defeating the Israelites in 70 A.D.

The PLO was established in 1964 A.D. This is when the word Palestinian applied to Arabs living in Judea and Samaria.

Palestine and Palestinian
by: Anonymous

The Moslem people living in the regions of Judea and Samaria are Arabs. Before the Six Day War in 1967 the people living in Gaza were Egyptians and the Moslem people living in Judea and Samaria were Jordanians.

The Romans called Israel Palestine after crushing the Jewish revolt which ended in 70 A.D.

The Arabs say the word Palestine, yet have no history to back up their claim to the land.

The Turks controlled Israel from 1517-1917 A.D. There were very few Arabs living in Judea and Samaria. After World War I, the Jewish people drained the swamps and made Israel prosper, so that Arab migrants began to settle in Judea and Samaria in great numbers.

There are no Palestinian kings, coinage or artifacts to prove a Palestinian people existed.
The term Palestinian is used by the terrorists whom claim the Israelis have no rights to their land.
