Joseph was given the pharaoh ring representing new life, since Joseph a prisoner was given the second most powerful position in all Egypt. (Genesr9is 41:10 & Genesis 41:41-42)

Judah gave Tamar a signet ring. (Genesis 38:h18 & Genesis 38:24-26) The signet ring saved Tamar's life.

Joseph received the signet ring from pharaoh Senusret III.
Jacob entered Egypt during Senusret III's reign.

The generation where Senusret III's signet ring was placed upon Joseph's finger, is the same generation Judah's signet ring saved Tamar's life; and is quite interesting where a ring is a symbol for life.
