I HAVE A QUESTION. I AM AGAINST THE SO CALLED PRIEST KING THEORY THAT IS USED TO GET MONEY OUT OF BUSINESS MEN BY PASTORS. THESE SAY THEY FULFILL THE PRIESTLY ROLL, AND YOU BUSINESS PEOPLE MUST PAY UP AND FULFILL YOUR KINGLY ROLL.

CAN YOU SEND ME MORE INFO, AS I MUST GIVE IT TO A PASTOR WHO IS CLAIMING THE PRIESTLY ROLL AND PROPAGATING THIS FALSE DOCTRINE.

Churches in todays world are just as bad as big business. In the days just after pentecost, people gathered in the homes of other people to study the bible. Since it is the Holy Spirit who teaches the Spiritual things in Gods word, No man can do that. In acts chapter 2 gives an account of the early church. People sold whatever they could and shared it with others. Everybody had everything in common. Good times as well as bad. Jesus said[ My kingdom is not of this world]. Since the believer is in the kingdom of Jesus our church is not in this world. When Jesus said[ Do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together], He was not talking about the churches in this world. He was talking about, the way it was in the second chapter of Acts.

priest and king theory

In the April edition of Vision Magazine, an article appeared entitled "Self-makeover process", by Bill Price. He claims that a lot of South African pastors regurgitate messages from the USA and Europe, and by way of example mentions the Melchizedek 'Priest and King theory'.

This theory, it is alleged, is used to elicit funds from businessman. He further postulates that we can be abused by such teachings, which he contends is a false teaching in the light of the word when not taken out of context .

Priesthood

God setup a Levitical priesthood when Moses received the law. The Levites never had an inheritance, they were taken care of by the other eleven tribes. The fact they were the priests of God was their inheritance. That was what the tithe was about. Read Deuteronomy chapter 14.

God set up this priesthood on earth as an example of a priesthood that would one day be an eternal priesthood in the order of Melchezidek. Jesus would be our high priest, so we would be priests in the order of Melchezidek for ever. Hebrews chapter 7-8 and 9.

Leviticus 27:32

Oddley Godley there in Leviticus 27:32 the Lord says 10% of all flocks are his. Where would people donate their 10%? Most likely to the temple priest.

Many ministers want to misuse their powers. You should donate to the church which makes you happy.
