Genesis 12:17
by: Anonymous

God's wrath against Egypt was so harsh Egyptians had to hunt south of Aswan after consuming most wildlife in Lower Egypt and Upper northern Egypt, as Pepi II's reign ended and the Memphis dynasty fell. The crops just withered in the fields.

Society was upside down, for the rich wore tattered clothes, and the poor dressed in fancy clothes, and the farmers lay dead in the fields.

Ipuwer Papyrus was written in Egypt's 12th dynasty telling us how the 6th dynasty ended.

Since the Sakkara kings list shows the 7-10 and part of Egypt's 11th dynasty was fake-there are only 3 Thebean kings after Pepi II and before Amenemhet I of Egypt's 12th dynasty. The 3 Thebean kings are; Mentuhotep II, Mentuhotep III & Mentuhotep IV.

Some 70 years pass from Pepi II's death to Amenemhet I's reign, according to the Sakkara kings list.

Abraham was 75 and Sarah was 65 when they entered Egypt. (Abraham lived in Canaan for 10 yrs. and Ishmael was born when Abraham was 86. Genesis 16:3)

Pepi II was 96 years old. The princes found Sarah to be attractive, and Sarah was welcomed into the pharaoh's house.(Genesis 12:14-15)God then sent terrible plagues against Egypt.

The Ipuwer Papyrus confirms Genesis 12:17. The Ipuwer Papyrus shows us another part of Egyptian history in which the Egyptian pharaoh's and scribes wanted to hide. So they created the fake 7-10 and part of Egypt's 11th dynasties in an effort to keep Egypt's history buried.

There was a civil war in Egypt following Pepi II's death.
Mentuhotep II, in the 39th year he ended the civil war. Should you believe the Sakkara kings list, the next pharaoh after Pepi II is Mentuhotep II.

For some 39 years the nation of Egypt is divided, and people are starving to death, for there is a water crisis in Egypt and some regions the people are hoarding food. People are even eating their own children.

The 12th dynasty scribes could actually be referring to Pepi II's reign and shortly afterward. Near Pepi II's end the nomarch's had the power in Egypt. The Ipuwer Papyrus could be showing us the Genesis 12:17 plague.

The Egyptian chronology should look like this. The paragraph's did not divide right for Egypt. Biblical chronology is correct.

Its:
Mentuhotep II 1913-1862 B.C.
Mentuhotep III 1862-1850 B.C.
Mentuhotep IV 1850-1843 B.C.
Amenemhet I 1843-1813 B.C.
Senusret I 1813-1777 B.C.
Amenemhet II 1777-1743 B.C.
Senusret II 1743-1724 B.C.
Senusret III 1724-1685 B.C.

Ipuwer Papyrus

Thirty years ago historians stated the Ipuwer Papyrus was written in Egypt's 12th dynasty, referring to the collapse of Pepi II's government near the time of Pepi II's death and shortly afterwards.

There is famine and the Egyptians are eating their own children. The Sakkara kings list reveals after Pepi II the next king is Mentuhotep II; meaning the 7-10 and part of the 11th Egyptian dynasty was phony, thus bringing down Pepi II's reign of years.

Pepi II (2003-1913 B.C.) had trade with Sodom. Pepi II was Egypt's 1st bi-sexual king.

Memphis' power was destroyed by God in Genesis 12:17. Abraham lived in the days of Sodom.
1913-1862 B.C.

Mentuhotep II 1862-1850
Mentuhotep III 1850-1843 B.C.
Mentuhotep IV 1843-1813 B.C.
Amenemhet I 1813-1777 B.C.
Senusret I 1777-1743 B.C.
Amenemhet II 1743-1724 B.C.
Senusret II 1724-1685 B.C.
Senusret III who dies a few months after Jacob.

Biblical:

Abraham 1992-1817 B.C.
Isaac 1892-1712 B.C.
Jacob 1832-1685 B.C.
Joseph 1741-1631 B.C.
Senusret III invades Canaan and captures Shechem Genesis 35:1-6 shortly after Jacob left for Bethel.

Ipuwer's report could very well be about events taking place at the end of Pepi II's life, or shortly afterwards.

Ipuwer Papyrus
by: Stanley7

First of all, in the beginning Ham's son, named as "Egypt", was a first one going to a new nation, so Egypt named his own new nation of "Eygpt" at that time.

The Ipuwer Papyrus NEVER represented the time Abraham was in Egypt, until Moses's life and times, so first of all the Lord God, with Moses, afflicted Pharaoh and his house with great plagues, because of Sarai, Abram's wife, was taken as wife by the Pharaoh at that time.

Then Lord God started with Moses to send ten plagues against the Pharaoh at that time. Then Lord God with Moses set His Own True Liberty to all Hebrews on Saturday, Abib/ Nisan/ AUGUST, 14th Day, known as this Holy Passover Day, Holy 2457th Lord Year (Holy 7th Year- High Year).

The Ipuwer Papyrus was written later. Always yes and true! Thanks a lot to Lord Jesus Christ! Okay. Thank you. Stanley7
